Classes

Define class batches, streams and divisions. Optionally assign a class-charge teacher who will be prioritised for the first period.

Tips

While adding the class, leave the Class Teacher section blank. After adding teachers, it is possible to edit the class later and assign teachers here.

First Period Preference

Choose how many working days per week must hold the class-teacher first period.

Both the Standard and AI generators reserve the first teaching period of each selected day for the class charge teacher BEFORE normal scheduling begins, and lock those slots so optimisation, reallocation and repair passes cannot overwrite them. Manual allocations always take precedence. If a reservation is impossible on a particular day (teacher unavailable, capped, or slot already locked), that day is skipped and listed in the generation warnings — generation still completes.
